we made a bid on a manufactured home and it was accepted now what.. we signed all our papers for the fha loan not just the pre-qual but other papers that shows what we will be paying.. so how long will it take for us to move in????

It depends on when you get funding, usually it is 30 days.

I hired a guy to hang a door, Level out my floor with boards underneath my carpet, put trim around my walls and only in 2 medium sized rooms, And changed a set of faucets. How much should I pay him? He said he,d do it reasonable. He,s an individual not a company so how much should I pay him? Ball Park figure….

If he is not licensed I would pay him about 150.

I need some ideas on living arrangement,s, as of right now i live in a apartment. Here,s the problem my fiance works on a oil rig, where hes home for 2 weeks and hes gone for 2 weeks because he works out of the state and has to move were his rig goes. So my question is what are living arrangement,s someone could make to be with who they love while there out of state? What i mean by that is are there extended stay hotels, things like that. I was thinking just simplifying our lives and being like hey lets get a rv! Im just looking for some outside opinions with pros and cons. And even some ideas please and thank you.

A solid answer is keep ur apartment. Focus on ur work/life.
He will come back when he is off work.
Do Not chase after him site to site. Skip RV idea .
U need to focus on u while he is gone. focus on him when he is home
at ur apartment.

To rent an apartment, I was sent ,rental application and offer to lease, form by email which I have signed and sent them back. Before and after signing I repeatedly requested them the size, layout and the pictures of the apartment, which they haven,t provided (I am trying to rent an apartment online). Now they told me that my ,application, has been approved and I should sent deposit of first and last month rent.
Since I am not sure which apartment I am applying for renting can I withdraw my application without any legal binding? as it was just an application.
What I realized now that the application itself states lot of legal clauses just like in the application (http://www.prpgrp.com/uploads/Usable_Application_Form.pdf)
Please help me understand the situation.
Thank you!

It,s just an application and is not binding unless you accept the tenancy and send in a security deposit. Never ever rent online or rent an apartment that you have not seen. This scenario screams scam.

Does or Can the Owner save the Apartment for me before I move in or do I pay the deposit then start paying rent?

You can pay the deposit before hand so the landlord can hold the apartment for you.
Never rent a place unless you can inspect it first.

And is it a good decision to buy a short sale as your first home ?

The majority of states and many municipalities have grant programs for first time buyers that meet certain income guidelines. A very typical example provides a grant for 2.5% of the purchase price in the form of a second mortgage that is forgiven after you live in the home for a period of time. My city has a grant program that provides up to 6% for first time buyers. Not every lender is approved to offer these programs so you need to do some research on the programs available in your area. Some of the programs may have a different interest rate than current non-grant programs so it is important to compare both.

I have worked with many buyers of short sale homes and the transactions are not all the same. Some have closed in normal fashion, while others seem to wait forever for bank approval of the short sale. If the right home for you happens to be a short sale I won,t tell you to avoid them altogether, but make sure you are prepared for delays. If the bank takes too long your rate lock and/or lease on your current residence can expire which can cause additional headaches and expense for you. Your Realtor may be able to provide some direction based on their experience with a particular bank approving the short sale.

i live in the DC area, so i am looking for houses in DC, virginia, or western maryland. what website should i use to find condos and homes that are not already under contract? thanks

Alex Company rents space to a tenant for $2,200 per month. The tenant currently owes two months rent, November and December. The tenant has agreed to pay the November, December, and January rents in full of January 15 and has agreed not to fall behind again. The adjusting entry needed on December 31 is:

A. Debit Rent Receivable, $6,600; credit Rent Earned, $6,600.
B. Debit Unearned Rent, $4,400; credit Rent Earned, $4,400.
C. Debit Unearned Rent, $2,200; credit Rent Earned, $2,200.
D. Debit Rent Receivable, $4,400; credit Rent Earned, $4,400.
E. Debit Rent Receivable, $2,200; credit Rent Earned, $2,200.

The answer is D.

Is that good? and what does that mean. I ask for a studio or one bedroom? WiII I get an apartment soon? I Iive USA.

The waiting list can be years long, like 5 years. And preference goes to families, the disabled, and the elderly. As a single person, you may never get a voucher (and likely won;t)
